The second conference in the Brexit series
This is Chemical Watch's second Brexit workshop. The first event in the series took place in London in September 2017 and attracted an audience of 100 participants from the UK and elsewhere in Europe. The event brings together experts and stakeholders who will examine the implications of Brexit in terms of UK/EU trade and environmental protection, current models of cooperation with the EU and possible options for UK chemicals law after Brexit.
In addition, we will be presenting the results of our first global survey of business sentiment, fears, hopes, intentions and actions to prepare for the UK's planned exit from the European Union. The survey was designed to take a snapshot of these facets at a critical time for UK policy-making, specifically in relation to the chemicals regime that will apply in the UK after Brexit and its impact on standards of product safety.
Watch the livestream if you can't attend
For the first time, we will be livestreaming one of the day's key sessions, allowing you to be part of the event from your desk if you're unable to attend in person. You will be able to watch our editorial director, Geraint Roberts, present the results of the 2018 Chemical Watch Brexit Survey.
The session is free to watch, and it will start at 13:20 BST on 17 April, lasting for approximately 20 minutes.
