Teresa Marks
Chief Deputy Director, California Department of Pesticide Regulation
Teresa Marks was appointed chief deputy director at the California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) on June 24, 2016. Prior to joining DPR, Ms. Marks served as principal advisor to the administrator for unconventional oil and gas at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from 2015 to 2016 and director at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality from 2007 to 2014.
Ms. Marks held several positions in the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office from 1995 to 2007, including deputy attorney general in the Public Protection Department, senior assistant attorney general and assistant attorney general.
Ms. Marks earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law.
