A Report Card on Retailer Actions to Eliminate Toxic Chemicals
This year’s expanded report card evaluates the policies and practices of 30 of the United States' top retailers.
Four years since the campaign was launched, the report set out to evaluate the progress that has been made, challenges that remain, and the ongoing need for transformational change in the retail marketplace to drive toxic chemicals out of products.
The webinar took place on 23 February and took a deep dive into the methodology for the report card, 14 categories of criteria behind the scores, how the retailers scored, new retailer safer chemicals policies announced over the past year, and directions for the campaign in the year ahead.
The webinar featured a presentation from and Q&A with the co-authors of the report card.
