2019 conference highlights
This year’s annual AsiaHub Summit USA (21-22 March 2019) brought the latest developments in Asian chemicals regulations to Washington, DC.
The Summit welcomed speakers from regulatory authorities and industry, who provided their perspectives into both the regulations and best practice for staying compliant.
The first day of the Summit featured presentations about regulatory developments in China.
Day two featured presentations from speakers representing countries from across Asia and Australasia, including South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, India, and Australia.
Topics that were discussed over the two days included:
- Compliance with China REACH, including alternatives to animal testing
- Food contact and cosmetics regulations in China
- Updates on K-REACH and K-BPR
- Chemicals management in Japan, Thailand, and India
