Sarah Jane Scruggs
Sarah has over a decade of experience executing integrated marketing strategies and public relations/public affairs campaigns in a variety of industries. As a self-proclaimed left- and right-brainer, Sarah has both a creative side and analytical side, creating a combination of imaginative, yet data-based decision making. This thought process served as an integral component for the launch of Good Chemistry Lives Here, the Center for Biocide Chemistries’ educational awareness campaign.
She leads the day-to-day efforts of educating the public about antimicrobials through digital, social and traditional methods of communication and also serves as communications lead for a number of other chemistries and international efforts.
Sarah has previously worked in a number of public relations and marketing agencies before joining the American Chemistry Council in 2017 as Director of Product and International Communications.
