Christel Schilliger-Musset joined ECHA on 1 September 2007. She is of French nationality and as of 1 January 2019, she is in charge of the directorate of Hazard Assessment, which comprises evaluation of chemicals, classification and labelling of hazardous substances, identification of substance of very high concerns, occupational exposure limits (OELs), Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs), as well as the coordination of the scientific, technical and administrative support to the Member State Committee (MSC).
