Albert Khoo
With 24 years of technical support and experience in 3M Personal Safety Division, Albert’s work
scope includes providing technical advice and guidance on proper use, care and maintenance of 3M
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) range of products offered. He is also involved in assisting
companies to assess occupational exposure to known hazards and propose relevant PPE solutions
where appropriate.
Albert was also invited to contribute as a member of the working group in Singapore Standards
Council to develop local regulatory standards pertaining to the proper selection, use and
maintenance of respiratory and hearing protective devices and personal eye protectors.
He serves as Registered Industrial Hygienist (RIH) Board member formed under the auspices of the
Occupational & Environmental Health Society (OEHS), which provides accreditation and recognition
for occupational/industrial hygienists who are practicing their trade in Singapore.
Albert holds a Master of Science in Occupational, Environmental Health and Safety Management
from the University of Portsmouth in UK.
