Brian Priestly
Adjunct Professor, School of Public Health & Preventive Medicine, Monash University
Brian led the Australian Centre for Human Health Risk Assessment (ACHHRA) at Monash University for the past 15 years until his recent retirement. His primary area of expertise is in toxicology and environmental health risk assessment and he also previously led chemicals toxicology and chemicals risk management programs in the Australian Government Health portfolio. He has been recognised as a Fellow (FACTRA) in the peer-reviewed register of the Australasian College of Toxicology & Risk Assessment and he has been active on many government technical committees and scientific advisory panels over the past 45 years.
