Hazlina Yon

Hazlina has joined the Department Occupational Safety and Health, Ministry of Human Resource in 1994. She has been in the line of chemical management and industrial hygiene for the past 25 years.
Her experiences include conducting risk assessments, promulgate various occupational health related guidelines, Code of Practice, manual CHRA 1st Edition, CHRA 2nd Edition, drafting various regulations such as CLASS, USECHH etc.
She is responsible for the classification of chemicals submitted as inventory under the CLASS regulations and strategizing enforcement strategies in complying to the USECHH Regulations 2000 and the CLASS Regulations 2013. She is also in charge for the issuance of approval for training centres on CHRA 3rd Edition.
