Jody Quirke
Legal and Policy Officer, DG Environment
Jody Quirke is a Legal and Policy Officer in the Sustainable Chemicals Unit of DG Environment. He joined the Unit in 2014 and is responsible for legal and implementation issues pertaining to REACH registration, data-sharing and the interaction between REACH and waste legislation.
Jody is also responsible for providing legal and policy advice on issues pertaining to the POPs and PIC Regulations and aspects relating to chemicals under the Commission's Circular Economy Action Plan. Prior to joining the Commission, Jody worked with the Department of the Environment in Ireland as an EU Presidency Officer with the International Climate Change Unit.
