Karolina Zázvorková on RoHS and e-waste
At our Chemicals Management for the Electronics Industry conference last year, Karolina Zázvorková (Policy Officer, European Commission) said that “the electronics sector is one of the fastest-growing manufacturing streams in the Western world”. However, she warned that, with this growth, comes vast levels of e-waste, and that the fate of 80% of e-waste is unknown.
