The Product Sustainability Summit Europe 2024 takes a deep dive into how chemical and product manufacturers, brand owners and their supply chains can navigate the increasingly complex regulatory landscape of a circular European economy, and the impact of integrating sustainable materials into everyday products.

Over two busy days, the conference will explore the latest updates to key European legislative and non-legislative measures to support product sustainability for the chemicals industry and its downstream users, and how these intersect with broader corporate sustainability goals.

With increased scrutiny to ensure both safety and sustainability throughout the product lifecycle, you will also hear practical examples and advice shared by industry experts, together with an exploration of tools to help you ensure compliance and develop strategies for prioritizing, interpreting, tracking and managing requirements, especially in relation to substances of concern.

Key topics include:

Understanding the impact of measures including ESPR, SSbD, CSRD and CSDDD for business
Traceability through the supply chain, including digital product passports
Perspectives on SSbD implementation
Managing product sustainability and substances of concern
Comparing regulatory approaches between the EU and other regions
Experiences and best practice from sectors including textiles, coatings and life sciences
Leveraging tools to enhance your sustainable product strategy including ISO 59000, ProScale, the Environmental Footprint database and AI
