PFAS Updates 2021: Highlights

Chemical Watch’s second annual PFAS Updates conference (23 June) was hugely popular and another big success. The event brought together experts and stakeholders to share comprehensive discussions on the latest global regulatory developments around the use of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs).

During the event, regulatory professionals provided valuable insights into:

  • PFAS alternatives;
  • chemical identity and the EPA process for approving new PFAS chemicals;
  • the proposed TSCA PFAS reporting rule;
  • an overview of the PFAS restriction proposal under REACH;
  • PFAS restrictions and the EU chemicals strategy for sustainability; and
  • food contact materials regulations and PFASs.
